John Bobek performing live

John Bobek

John Bobek is an evocative and dynamic singer-songwriter and guitarist who grew up in Milwaukee and then spent 17 years in the Los Angeles film and music scene before relocating to Atlanta in 2021. No stranger to LA stages like Hotel Cafe, The Mint, and Witzend, he has found himself right at home in the intimate and eclectic music venues of ATL. Often compared to John Mayer or Glen Hansard in his narrative songwriting and captivating acoustic style, he is also a skilled chameleon in adapting his sound for covers of everything from James Taylor, The Beatles, and Fleetwood Mac to Matchbox 20, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift. Joined frequently by his wife Erin for backup vocals and duets, the duo shines with soaring harmonies in an ever-growing roster of originals and covers from a huge range of decades and genres.
